HILTOP User Interface

A comprehensive graphical user interface resembling that of MAnE is under development for HILTOP. In the interim, the features of the interface is limited to the selection of the application program that is to be invoked and the specification of the data input file that is to be employed by that program.

The program selection options include HILTOP and the six supporting applications that are provided with the license. The Display/Edit and the Trajectory buttons provide access to output data for a case that has been executed. The Display/Edit button permits one to select and open any of the several humanly readable files created by the application in the user’s choice of viewing applications. Once opened, the user may perform any operations on the data within the file that is permitted by the viewer.

The Trajectory button is used to display and annotate a graph showing the trajectory profile of the trajectory superimposed on a background of the solar system body orbits that are involved in the mission.
